ROB DAVIS, LS, PACKERS (retired)
Briefly: One of the premier long-snappers in the NFL. Also played for the Chicago Bears and the CFL's Baltimore
Stallions and was in training camps with the New York Jets and Kansas
City Chiefs. Won the CFL's championship, Grey Cup, with Baltimore and played in
Super
Bowl XXXII with the Packers
Rob was a four-year starter at defensive tackle for Ship, starting all
43 games of his career. He holds the school record of 353 tackles
for a defensive lineman. Following two unsuccessful tryouts with
the New York Jets
in 1993 & 1994 he landed a roster with the
Baltimore Stallions of the Canadian
Football League, and was part of the Grey Cup-winning
championship team. He signed with the Kansas
City Chiefs in 1996 but was
cut. His big break came later than year when he signed with the Chicago
Bears and made their final roster
and played in all 16 games that season as the teams long snapper for all
punts and placement kicks. He signed with the
Green Bay Packers in 1997 and played
in every game including Super Bowl XXXII.
He remains with the Packers and is widely considered one of the league's
best long snappers. He is also active in the community and speaks
frequently at schools and community events, receiving the Green Bay
Chamber of Commerce "Community Service Award" in 1999.
He was inducted into the Shippensburg University Athletic Hall of Fame

JOHN KUHN, RB, PACKERS
Briefly: Originally signed with the Arena League's San Jose SaberCats
but later signed with Pittsburgh. On the Steelers Practice Squad
when the team won Super Bowl XL.
Made his NFL debut in November 2006
John was a two-year starter at running back for the Red Raiders and
holds 27 school records and four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
(PSAC) records. He finished his career with 4,685 yards rushing,
910 carries, 53 touchdowns, 5,300 all-purpose yards and 26 games with at
least 100 yards rushing, all school records. He was a three-time
First-Team All-PSAC Western Division selection. After graduation,
he originally signed with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football
League as a RB/LB. Before joining San Jose, he was signed by the
Pittsburgh Steelers. As a Practice Squad player, he was a member
of the Steelers Super Bowl XL championship team in 2005. Signed to
the Steelers active roster in November 2006 after beginning the season

RON JOHNSON, DE, EAGLES
Briefly: Also played for the Arena League's Philadelphia Soul.
First overall draft pick in the 2005
NFL Europe Free Agent Draft Ron was a three-time All-PSAC Western
Division selection at Shippensburg from 1999-2002. He finished his
career with 158 total tackles, including 35 for loss and 18.0 sacks
while earning All-PSAC Western Division First Team honors as a senior in
2002. He was also named All-PSAC Western Division Second Team in
1999 and 2000. Johnson's 18.0 career sacks still rank fifth in
school history. He spent part of one season with the Philadelphia
Eagles, appearing in three games. In late-2006 he signed with the
Arena League's Philadelphia Soul. In September 2005, Ron was the
first overall draft pick in the NFL Europe Free Agent Draft by the
Hamburg Sea Devils but did not to play in NFLE. [more...]

ETHAN KILMER, S/WR, DOLPHINS
Briefly: The first Shippensburg attendee to be selected in
the NFL Draft and to score an NFL
touchdown. Attended Ship but did not play football.
Transferred to Penn State and became a standout on special teams and at
wide receiver.
Played in every Penn State game and led the special teams with 25
tackles (19 solo). Also played WR, making three starts (vs. South
Florida, Cincinnati and Illinois), and had 15 catches for 236 yards and
three TDs. Closed his career in Orange Bowl victory over Florida
State with six receptions for 79 yards, including a leaping 24-yard TD
catch just before halftime to give Lions a 14-13 lead. Also had
two special teams stops vs. Florida State. Caught a 55-yard TD
pass vs. Central Michigan and had a 35-yard score vs. Illinois. On
special teams, he had six tackles (five solo) in the win over Purdue,
plus a forced fumble on punt coverage that led to a field goal. In
2004 he saw his first college football action, playing in 11 Penn State
games on special teams and as a free safety. He had two of his six
tackles vs. Ohio State. In 2003 he walked on to Penn State
football program and spent the season as a scout team player.
Attended Shippensburg from 2001-02 but did not play football.
Scored his first NFL touchdown on November 19, 2006 against the New
Orleans Saints after interception a Drew Brees pass and returning it for
